All shipments are subject to GLDF-300 Rules Tariff and the provision of the Uniform Bill of Lading in National Motor Freight Classification in effect on the date of pickup. Online quotes are based on the information you have provided. Actual shipment weight, class, and origin/destination will take precedence. Rates and charges (including fuel surcharges) are effective on the date of the estimate and are subject to change. If additional services are required or requested, additional accessorial charges may apply.
Gold Coast Freightway's liability for loss and damage to a shipment is limited to actual invoice value up to a maximum $25.00 per pound per package. Additional liability limits for commodities of extraordinary value, commodities subject to class exception ratings or specific commodities may apply. Additional liability coverage for direct loss or damage is available from the carrier at additional cost. However, a higher declared value will not apply unless additional coverage is explicity requested on the bill of lading and charges for additional coverage have been assessed seperately and collected by the carrier. Declaration of a specific value above the default limits, without a request for additional coverage, will not alter carrier liability and will not result in an additional charge. Refer to GLDF-300 Rules Tariff for these provisions.
